PROSOURCE AGAIN REWARDS SPEED IN 2016

ProSource Consultants of Grand Saline, Tex. will continue its popular “fast qualifier” awards program during the 2016 USAC National racing season, benefitting drivers who post the fastest qualifying time for events in USAC’s Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and National Midget Series.

Buck and Betty Rice, whose company provides engineering and project management to oil & gas producers and other industrial businesses with environmental contamination issues, will also honor the driver posting the most USAC National fast qualifiying efforts during 2016 at the annual USAC Night of Champions Banquet in Indianapolis, Ind. in December.

“I am always excited to see the USAC season commence,” says Buck Rice. “The USAC races are always the most competitive in the country and Betty and I try to make as many as we possibly can. It is our pleasure to be able to honor these brave drivers with their accomplishments and we look forward to another tremendous year of racing.”

The $10,000 pledged by ProSource will be split amongst the three National racing series, with a $100 cash award presented at each race and a $2,500 bonus awaiting the most proficient fast qualifier at season’s end. Eligibility for the $2,500 bonus will be contingent on displaying the ProSource decals on each side of the car during the events.

In 2014 Rico Abreu captured the season-end award, while last year’s award winner was Chase Stockon.

The 2016 USAC National racing calendar at present encompasses 82 total events.
