Speedway, Indiana (October 3, 2023)………Thus far, Daison Pursley has passed more cars and advanced through the field more often than any other driver throughout the 2023 USAC National season, placing him right at the top of the ProSource Passing Master standings.

The Locust Grove, Okla. native has passed a combined total of 182 cars total between his full-time duties on the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship trails.

That’s 39 more than his nearest competitor, Logan Seavey (Sutter, Calif.), with a total of 10 USAC National events remaining on the 2023 season (six midget, three sprint and one Silver Crown).

The single season record for feature passes made in a single USAC National season came in 2021 when Justin Grant accumulated 236.

ProSource, of Grand Saline, Texas, has posted a $2,500 year-end reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who passes the most total cars during feature events throughout USAC’s 2023 National season.

The bonus payday awaits the driver who advances the most positions combined between USAC’s Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget divisions.

The 2023 season marks the fourth year of ProSource’s Passing Master championship.  Chris Windom captured the inaugural edition in 2020.  Justin Grant has claimed the honor in each of the past two seasons in 2021 and 2022.

Next up for Pursley and company is this Saturday night, October 7, with the running of the Fall Nationals at Indiana’s Lawrenceburg Speedway, paying $20,000-to-win.  A $10,000 bonus is also on the line for any driver outside the top-12 in the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship standings.

Pits open at 3pm Eastern with the grandstands opening at 5pm, the drivers meeting at 5:15pm and cars on track at 6pm with qualifying and racing immediately following.  General admission tickets are $35, kids 7-12 are $7 and children 6 and under are free.
