WIGAL BRINGS HOME A VICTORY AT MOLER

Williamsburg, Ohio (June 23, 2023)………Zach Wigal became a three-time USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget winner on Friday night at Williamsburg, Ohio’s Moler Raceway Park.

Wigal (Belpre, Ohio) raced to the lead past Ian Creager by lap three after starting back in the fourth position.  From there, Wigal led the remaining 18 laps to earn the victory in the 20-lap finale.

Jakeb Boxell (Zanesville, Ind.) came home second with reigning series champ Stratton Briggs (Anna, Ohio) third, Bryce Massingill (Troy, Ohio) fourth and Gunnar Lucius (7) fifth.

Wigal, who was also the fastest qualifier, extended his series point lead to 36 over Bryce Massingill with his victory.
